Carbon Poker Review

Why should one play at Carbon Poker? Although Carbon Poker is a relatively new presence on the online poker world's map, it has already proven that it's extremely serious about attracting more and more players. For starters: these guys accept US players. That's right, after the Black Friday events, they closed their doors to US players for a short while, but now they accept US traffic yet again. Their software is endowed with a couple of unique features that many of the players will doubtlessly find attractive: players can Deal it Twice and they can Expose One Card. Every month, the site hosts a $50k freeroll. This freeroll is not exactly free for all comers though: players need to buy in with player points. There's also a $20k Sunday Guaranteed, which attracts quite a few players every weekend.

On top of everything else, there's the Carbon Poker rakeback too of course.

The software, which features slightly cartoonish yet extremely attractive graphics, is quite a piece of programming indeed: besides all the comic-like taunts and emoticons, it also offers a great game selection. Besides the usual mix of Holdem/Omaha/7-Card Stud, there's 5-Card Stud, 5-Card Draw, 2-7 lowball, A-5 lowball, as well as Razz and Badugi. Quite frankly, there isn't a whole lot of traffic at these poker variants, but they're there and action can be found every now and then even on the least popular ones.

Carbon Poker encourages tournament play through an excellent MTT leader board. There are quite a few live event satellites running too, which mostly feature smaller than usual starting fields and thus increased odds for individual players.
