Dbet Review

Based in Malta, Diamondbet is a relatively new online poker room which has been quite successful in attracting traffic through the generous sign-up bonus and new player freerolls it offers. Diamondbet also hosts regular rake races, which offer pretty deep prize-pools.

The quality of the traffic seems to be rather loose too, therefore, everything considered and the Diamondbet rakeback tossed into the middle of the mix, the Diamondbet package is a pretty attractive one indeed.

Diamondbet is a Boss Media network member, and it is powered by the same software you may have already seen in other Boss Media rooms. From a graphics perspective, the Diamondbet software isn't particularly impressive, but it looks clean and its functionality is adequate. It supports multi tabling and it is stable under all circumstances. The only thing which is a little frustrating about it is the side-bar which distracts from the overall game experience. The bottom line about the software: it looks good enough and it does a great job at what it's supposed to achieve.

Player traffic is decent. Diamondbet does not accept US players, so the peak hours traffic-wise are the European peak hours. Both the Holdem and Omaha tables are teeming with players: one will always find action at these poker variants. Table selection is extremely important at Diamondbet though, because some of the games tend to be hard to beat, and you will obviously want to avoid these tables.

The majority of the players are supposed to be weak tight TAG fish or weak –loose clueless fish though, according to the majority of reviewers, so there's value in them there tables.

The Diamondbet promotions are the usual lot, with a little bit of extra (like a hot rake race) thrown in for seasoning here and there.

Bottom line: overall, Diamondbet is a good proposition for decent players. You do have to have some skills though to be able to dominate the action in this room.
