InterPoker Review

InterPoker is one of the oldest online poker rooms. It was launched way back in 2001. Being a side-operation of the famous InterCasino though, it never managed to attain the level of success many of its contemporaries did. Traffic was always decent and there were always decent promotions as well, including the InterPoker rakeback, but for some reason, they were always a little marginalized. They even had in-house pros playing for them for a while.

The software has never been an outstanding creation. It still features rather dull graphics and a similar lobby-interface, but as far as functionality goes, it's right up there with the best of them. Stability isn't an issue, not even when stretching the multi tabling capabilities of the software to the limit. The log viewer allows players to take a look at their recently played hands, and to analyze their decisions in hindsight.

Since 2005, the site has achieved quite a growth. These days, its traffic is more than decent and they say that many of the site's players are gamblers who drift over from the casino tables to play poker. These guys usually make juicy games and that seems to be the case at Interpoker too.

The sign-up bonus is quite industry–standard, but the rake that the room takes is a little steeper than elsewhere, therefore signing up with the Interpoker rakeback deal is pretty much a must.

Besides the rakeback, there's a loyalty deal too which awards players MPPs in a directly proportional manner with the rake that they pay. They can then spend those MPPs for tournament buy-ins.

Promotions-wise, the Interpoker deal is a pretty standard one. You have the usual guaranteed tournaments complete with satellites and sub satellites as well as the standard selection of WSOP and WPT qualifiers.

Interpoker support can be reached via email and phone, 24/7.

InterPoker have been granted a Denmark license but due to software technical development Danish players will have to wait until March before they can play. From 1st January 2012 until that time Danish players will not be able to play InterPoker.
